| As many others have attested to, I too was taken in by Jeff Segal and his smooth talking get-rich scheme. I initially visited his website through an e-mail I received for "work at home" opportunities. Then I received a phone call from a person named Larry that was working with Jeff. He began telling me how great the Global program was and he was making money hand over fist with this. I was a little skeptical but before I knew it I was talking to Jeff himself and they had me signed up for $1,200 initial investment. After that it was stipulated I had to follow the program and install 2-line phones, conference calling, call waiting, all the added features - not to mention unlimited long distance service (which by the way was through a company Jeff represented). I invested money for phones, equipment, phone services, advertising, a website, listened to the training calls, tried contacting people on lists purchased through Jeff, and numerous other means were tried to interest people in this program. All this was to no avail ~ obviously these people had either heard of Global before or just were too smart to be taken in. Nevertheless, I invested well over $2,000 in this worthless program and have not made one cent to date. All their promises of helping their people get their first two recruits were nothing more than hype to get us to join! After they had our money, they could care less. People like this and programs that bilk the public out of their hard earned money should be banned, and the people should have to pay back the money taken from others. My husband is now in the hospital with a stroke and I certainly could use some of the money Jeff and Global took from me. Dora dora8usa@earthlink.net |
