As I said, Paul promised to send out my first SPAM package free, which he did, and that should get me a return of from 5 to 60 calls. He stated that he averaged 20 or more return calls each time. He used a company called E-Mail Pro. You know who owns E-Mail Pro? Paul’s friend, Jim Roberts. Do you know who Jim Roberts is? He’s posted to the scam boards in defense of GPG. Well, he IS Paul Rawlins. How do I know that? Well, when you do a reverse trace on E-Mail Pro’s fax number (313 513 3844), which is the number you send your order to and then you send your cashier’s check or money order to a PO box, you find that the fax machine receiving the fax is located at 29015 Florence, Garden City, MI 48135, which is PAUL’S HOUSE. Actually, the number is listed as belonging to Robert L. Rawlins. Who is that? Well, that’s the person who lives at 29015 Florence. In fact, Paul has a major identity problem. He’s either a multiple personality disorder (you might want to try this one as a defense at your trial, Paul), or he’s quite the deceptive fellow. If you’ve spent any time at all on these boards of late, you’ll be familiar with Pro GPG names like Paul Rawlins, Dave Karmel, Fred (whose last name is never listed, but is given with his Hotmail email account as "Phlynstone"--I kid you not), Jim Roberts, and for a while, a guy named Mark Odell. In fact, Paul and Jim Roberts and Dave Karmel share the same 800# (you can verify this at smalloffice.com’s scam board, that is, if you can get it to load). Well, as the person posting under the name of GPG Buster has shown using his computer wizardry and reverse tracing of internet hookups, these "individuals" are all one person, and they all come back to Paul Rawlins. What has allowed Paul to appear to be several people is the ready access he has to anonymous, private email accounts through Hotmail.com. They are aware of much of what he’s been up to and are on to him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes under increasing scrutiny by them. Maybe they’ll even shut him down. Of course, he can always come back in another form. I never knew it. He’s making money from the GPG sale, and now from my marketing efforts, too. Along the same lines, that turnkey marketing company called Team Spirit that sends out all those post cards and provides telephone lists of opportunity seekers to GPG people at hundreds of bucks a pop, is owned by none other than...BJ Bishop. Now why do you suppose these people, who are claiming to make major major dollars with GPG, have these sidelight businesses? And why are these sidelight businesses all integrally involved in the marketing itself--they support the pyramid’s continuance? I’d bet that much, maybe the majority, of BJ’s income is from Team Spirit’s revenues, where those 7000 or so GPGers send a lot of money to get their leads each week. More incestuous stuff. Anyway, back to SPAM. I sent out 5 or 6 SPAM blasts during my GPG time. I never got back more than 6 or 8 calls, and usually I got 2 or 3. These were not close to Paul’s promised numbers. And these are the same less than stellar results another GPGer told me he has gotten using E-mail Pro. Also, I noticed in the GPG code of ethics that SPAMMING is a no-no; actually it’s not in the ethics code on the application, it’s on the list of approved vendors, and I quote "GPG does NOT authorize: Internet, Web Pages, WWW Sites, Radio Ads or spots, television, infomercials, or fax-blasting. Be sure to Review and follow item #11 in the GPG ethics of operation." I never asked Paul about that because I wanted to believe that he was not violating the code, and so I rationalized my way out of it by thinking that because the GPG name is not used in the ad itself, it must be ok. I was wrong. So is Paul. Plus, if you’re contacted via email, or a fax, that’s against the rules. Why? I’m not certain, but I’d bet it has to do with something analogous to mail fraud. It may be that using the internet, which is a federally managed wilderness, for fraud could be a federal crime. There are plenty of web pages out there, too, that are unauthorized. Haven’t seen too many that have been taken down. So, how much stock do you want to put in GPG’s or GPGers’ ethics? The other thing I thought of is this: If Keith Anderson has truly discovered the truth about the government conspiracy that we can attribute rust and cancer to as well as excessive taxation, then by all means get on the radio and TV when you have a chance and expose it. But GPG doesn’t want to do that. Why? Because they know they might get in BIGGER trouble than they can handle, the scam gets ended, and there goes the bucks. It’s much easier to scam people one at a time. Massive general advertising as opposed to massive personal advertising is much more risky because you can be held accountable by a society at large instead of by isolated individuals. There’s more. When I got frustrated, I called Paul and we’d go over the scripts. He’d tell me that I was struggling because I didn’t sound "confident enough," and that I needed to "lower your voice, so people will respond to you more as an authority." Great. Maybe I didn’t sound as confident as I should, but I doubt that seriously. But those were the only reasons I wasn’t racking up sales left and right, he said. So how come all the other people, some with funny accents and whatnot, were supposedly successful? If it’s all the scripts like he says, then, again, how I say what’s scripted shouldn’t be too important. Another thing that grew to bother me about working with Paul was that he was almost always available. Huh? Why’s that a problem? Simple. If he’s got this huge organization of people that he has sponsored and is making that 2 to 5 sales a week through his pay panels, don’t you think that there’d be a lot of times that he’d be tied up 3-waying with other people? But he wasn’t. He wasn’t busy enough. Finally, the fact that Paul sent me to work with companies that weren’t on the approved vendors list is problematic, especially when you consider what these companies did for him. I’ve already shown that he owns E-Mail Pro. Access Service Network was the other non-approved company he directed me to. Basically, Access is itself a networking company that builds downlines for patrons, and also provides leads, 800 #s (that’s the company that owns the 800# Paul advertises with), and other goodies. I was placed under Paul in Access, and so he made a commission on my monthly fees for leads. He told me he made as much as $1400 a month from Access. Not bad. But again, if he is making so much with GPG, why would that matter that much to him? If Paul does make the money he claims, then I would’ve thought he’d be more willing to underwrite the startup costs for people who are motivated but have limited money and who are going to have to qualify through him anyway. It would be smart to keep people going since they’re going to pay him with their first two sales, unless of course, the vast majority of people can’t do it and he’d lose money. Paul is not dumb, even if he doesn’t spell too well. One more thing about Paul. He got involved in GPG around June of 1996, and the GPG mantra is financial freedom in 2 years. So, Paul should be financially independent forever by June of this year, give or take a month or two, and so he should be getting ready to gear down. Now, he says that GPG is so much fun (??) that he may not want to quit (or alternatively, he’s very concerned with freeing the masses from governmental tyranny--so why not run for public office? You’ve got the money to finance a solid campaign, so make a difference where it really counts--How about Rawlins and Anderson in 2001 for president?). Of course, it may be that he’s not making quite as much as he says. Why not retire and move to a paradise? Garden City isn’t Eden, y’know. I do recall him saying something about a new house being built on Lake Erie maybe, but I don’t know much more than that. Enough about Paul. He’s a real scoundrel, I’m sorry to say. If you do join GPG, don’t join with him. Why is GPG doomed? There are several factors all working together even now to terminate GPG. 1) Market saturation. As with all network business, the issue of market saturation must be noted. Legitimate companies, like Amway, despite a lot of their bad press, fundamentally operate off of product sales and repeat business, and so market saturation is less of a problem for them because the money is first in the products. With networking programs that place their major emphasis on the business, market saturation is a killer. GPG is becoming well-known. The vast majority of people who would do it have, and those who wouldn’t have done it have turned it down. Many of the prospects I talked to were either already aware of GPG or were not business opportunity seekers any longer. Just last Friday, I took a quick look at the USA Today classifieds, and I counted at least 5 or 6 ads with GPG 800#s in the first two columns. I didn’t even finish the section. The point is, there’s no shortage of people trying to get prospects into the system. All you GPG people have enough competition amongst yourselves, even if there are only 7000 or so of you, because you’re all attempting to sell to the same market. 2) Lousy product--huge markup, no real value. As I indicated earlier, my response to the Gateway to Financial Freedom is less than enthusiastic. I wasn’t amazed, and it certainly didn’t "rock my world and blow my socks off and leave my toes smokin’!" The course contains some very interesting and provocative information on audiotape, and it will open your eyes to some things most folks don’t know. Keith Anderson is interesting to listen to, and he makes some very good points about taxation, trusts, and American government and history. But he also gets a bit loopy-sounding at times, and his use of the Bible to support some of his ideas is just plain bad hermeneutics. You can’t just pull out of scripture whatever you want it to say. Also, when I first got the course, I thought it needed to be spiffied up a bit; it is certainly not as sharp in appearance as it could be. For instance, the workbook is not very useful--it doesn't correspond to the tapes’ contents at several places. I chalked my reaction up to the thought that as an academic, my expectations of professional appearance may be a tad higher than most people’s. And I didn't want to think that I was making a big mistake. Turns out I did and now I’m stuck with these lovely tapes that I’d say are worth maybe $50 or $100 (and what makes me not an industry professional?). The fact that there is a 90% profit on the product makes no sense at all. Why would Anderson accept 10% of the proceeds (i.e., $125) if it were really valued at $7000 to $10,000? Simple. The tapes are incomplete alone. Without the consultations you can’t really do anything except get mad at the government and hopefully get all evangelical about passing on this wonderful knowledge. And while the consultations are free, it is going to cost you a couple of thousand dollars to actually set up your little offshore trust or whatever you want to do. Anderson’s not dumb, either. He knows he’s going to make some money from some GPG people, and he also knows he’ll make money elsewhere, too. He also knows he’s not responsible for what people do with the knowledge he gives them, so if it’s wrong, it’s not his problem. C’mon, don’t you think if this guy was truly taxation teflon he’d be on 60 Minutes and the cover of Time? Still, he’s a relative unknown. So, if you get sold with the line that even if you never market this program, you’ll still save a boatload in taxes, you’re getting scammed unless you’re already making major bucks. Don’t think that you’ll be able to benefit from the tax advice if you have a less than 6 figure income outside of GPG right now. OK, so why would the thing cost $1250? Because that’s how much people would be willing and able to pay to have the shot at the "business opportunity of a lifetime." $1250 seems to be the magic number, and I’d bet there’s marketing research out there to support its use. More than that, and you price yourself out of a huge portion of the market. Less than that, you don’t make enough to cover the expense of marketing it and you don’t fully take advantage of people’s dreams of financial independence. In other words, that’s as much as you can get. Plus, it does give an air of legitimacy to the whole thing along the lines of "if I’m being asked to put up some serious money, it MUST be legitimate; nobody has the gall to scam at that level." Oh, but they do, indeed they do. Plus, the 10 day guarantee would be an even bigger problem. 10 days is simply not adequate time to review 12 hours of tape. GPG knows that and counts on it, plus you’re too busy getting ready to market it to review the tapes, so you get stuck. That generates... 3) Crummy P.R. Anyone doing an internet search for GPG, or scams, or fraud, or network/mlm businesses will very quickly turn up a lot of dirt on GPG. Its reputation is flagging and most of the comparatively few people who would be susceptible to join are more able to reconsider. The gravy train is slowing very quickly. 4) Legal threat. This is the other nasty. With all the hubbub and noise being generated by scammed people, several state AG’s are sniffing around GPG a lot. It’s probably only a matter of time before it’s labeled as illegal and then it’s time to move on. I wouldn’t be too surprised, too, if the feds decided to take a close look at a lot of these newly formed offshore trusts that were formerly taxpayers. Hanging your life in Keith Anderson’s hands might be a risky thing to do. Now, GPGers like to say that they’re perfectly legal and BBB’s and Attorneys General are ok with them and they don’t worry about legal problems. Well, unfortunately, they may have a point here. This is where being a member of an association is a handy thing. Instead of worrying about legal issues that apply to companies, GPG says it’s an association and sidesteps all of that. So do the individual associates. Most BBB’s and AG’s don’t carefully scrutinize individuals working out of their homes who don’t get business licenses. Fortunately, though, with all the noise about GPG’s fraudulence being brought to their attention, state AG’s may be rethinking their standard policies. We’ll see. 5) Slippery leaders and shadowy past. Some interesting history about GPG and its leaders, from MLM Insider magazine: GPG’s marketing structure got off the ground in 1995 (so here’s that 3 year proven track record of success) with a program called "Commonwealth," which combined a marketing strategy (read pyramid) called "Fortune in Motion" with a tape-based product out of the 1980s called "Challenger" from a company called Wisdom, which was owned by Fred Varygen. It was Canadian in origin, and it quickly caught the attention of the Canadian authorities as a pyramid scam, but not before it was able to get picked up in the US and take off. While Mr. Varygen was in jail in Canada, his disciple, Leslie Fleiger, marketed his product out of San Diego. After a lawsuit against Fleiger forced him to quit, the group changed leaders and locations and names, but not the basic marketing setup. The new group, now out of LA, called itself Delphin and had rewritten materials, but basically the same focus on tax avoidance and whatnot. Shortly after that, another split occurred and a group of Delphin people launched Investor’s International (II). Apparently here is where Dave Struckman and Dan Anderson, the founders of GPG, got involved in leadership. This also would have been about the time when Paul Rawlins got in at the ground level. After II’s revamped products, which now were including more dubious information on offshore investing, etc., and their author, "Dr. Rudolph Von Lin," were exposed as totally fraudulent, another split occurred, with Struckman and Anderson coming up with GPG out of Renton, WA. They took a lot of II people with them. It has the same pyramid marketing structure, and a lot of the same focus on taxation, trusts, offshore investing, etc. And the price structure has not changed since Commonwealth. Everything has been $1250. Finally, a clarification about GPG’s history from someone familiar with Dave and Dan. After I posted my original essay, I was contacted by a person from Delphin, who corrected some of the above, saying (and since I don’t want to represent them either positively or negatively, I edited her message [where it says "snip"] to include only the parts salient to GPG): ______________________ I am with Delfin International and have been since October of 1995. Some of the test marketing phase of Delfin was during the "Commonwealth" days and Fred Varygen was the author of that course "The Commonwealth Teachings". There were a group of people involved with Commonwealth under Fred's "management" or should I say "lack of it". As with many businesses when they are starting, someone will call the Attorney General's office to see what they can find out. When that happens the AG contacts the company and wants details on the marketing plan, the compensation etc. etc. Usually the company's attorneys respond and clarify everything and the AG makes a ruling. Fred had no attorney's and ignored the letters from the AG's - making comments like "you have 49 other states to market in, don't worry about that one. He never installed a computer system and had no way to track who was qualified and who wasn't. The top leaders at that time saw what was going on, talked to Fred on numerous occasions and told him that they would leave if he didn't "take care of business". Fred refused and Leslie was commissioned to develop another product based on his extensive background in the Personal Growth/Transformational arena. Leslie developed a new product. (snip) The material is very powerful. There was a court case and Leslie won. I don't know all the specifics. In October of 1995, Delfin International was Incorporated in the US and International expansion was planned. Delfin has a team of corporate lawyers the makes sure that every "t" is crossed and every "i" is dotted. Delfin's products never have and never will have anything to do with taxes, trusts or any financial issues. (snip) Our marketing plan was copied by Dave and Dan when they were kicked out of Delfin. Our World Web Address is: http://www.delfinworld.com/ How do I know all this - well when Dave was in Delfin, he was my Phase 2 Executive. While I was at a Phase 2 event in Miami FL, he got on a Delfin Conference Call and told everyone on it that Delfin was going down and they needed to follow him to Investors International. He claimed that people were more interested in taxes and financial issues than they were in Personal Growth. He was kicked out of Delfin at that time. That was the best thing that could have happened for Delfin - sort of like the "sifting of the wheat and the tares". Most of the folks who were only in it for the money followed him, and Delfin really changed for the better. In Delfin, Dave did the same things he's doing in Global. I had to buy Prostep leads - an MLM - he was one of the top produces in that MLM I found out later, and the leads weren't any good. He recommended that you send out 500 post cards a week - His wife Laura was one of the only people doing post cards. So he made money on the post cards and the leads he sold with the post cards. The voice mail company he recommended was paying him referral commissions. Even the long distance company he recommended was an MLM, and he was at the top. My boyfriend was in telecommunications and Dave was trying to negotiate a deal where he received several cents per minute on all the Delfin conference calls. One thing I can say for him, is he knows how to make money - from everything! ___________________ Now that GPG is in increasingly hot water, and in fact was booted out of Washington state, it may be about time to move on again before it gets uglier and they get caught. Here’s where several new creatures have come along: A) The Financial Freedom Group B) The Freedom Prosperity Group Both of these "groups" have sprung up literally in the last couple of weeks. The first one is marketing "The Pathway to Financial Freedom" by none other than Keith Anderson. It’s a 12 hour home study course....you get the idea. The other one is marketing the same material without any names mentioned, including Anderson’s or "...Financial Freedom." Same scam, different peripherals. With this sort of creativity, I’d suggest a contest for most innovative name for a "morphed" GPG. Here’s a few I can just imagine: The Global Group for Financial Prosperity The Global Financial Prosperity Group The Financial Prosperity Freedom Group The Freedom Prosperity Financial Group The Freedom Financial Group for Global Prosperity or (my personal favorite) Scammers ‘R Us C) Free Enterprise International Systems. According to a member of this group that has contacted me, "We used to be called Free Enterprise Club but changed our name to Free Enterprise International Systems. Free was started by a Bud Adams (I think) back in July 97. A lot has changed since then, but we are basically a MLM that offers some of the same things Global does. We are not an offshoot of Global, and it bothers me to know that some people think we are. None of the people that were heading Global are in Free, nor would we want them. The only reason I heard of your post at SmallOffice was a G2 Director read it and got in touch with me to find out about Free. I have web sites up, and ads all over the place, so I'm easy to find! I hope this has helped clear up any mis-conceptions you have about Free. As I stated before, we do have ex-Global people in Free, but that is as close as it gets." I’d encourage you to check out other sources of information on this group before you make a decision. 6) Questionable future. Since GPG is obviously not quite as strong as it would like everyone to believe, it makes sense that its future is uncertain. If it’s legitimate, then it should be able to withstand some controversy on the web and stand on its own for quite some time. If not, then some of these new GPG mutations mentioned above make perfect sense. If Dave and Dan and whoever are as smart as they’re supposed to be (and apparently are, seeing as how they’re not in jail yet), you’d be smart to watch them jump ship onto something else that will make money. In short, another scheme. It’s been stated on the scam board just a few days ago by a GPG person that there will be an official GPG website in the next 6 weeks. Really. I’ll believe it when I see it. I remember asking both BJ Bishop and Kenny Law about the promised GPG web page. This was in October or November. There was a statement made from the big guys--Dave and Dan--that no associates were to have their own web pages and that GPG would have its own official web page very soon, in the next couple of weeks. Well...here it is March, and still no official website? And now there’s going to be one in the next 6 weeks. We’ll see. Ok, I’m just about done. I hope this has been informative. But before I call it a day, I’m going to include some useful information for those of you about to go through the system. Global Scripts We’d Like to See--That Is, Honest Ones [Let’s set the stage: You’ve received or seen an advertisement for a business opportunity; it could be via e-mail, it could be a postcard, it could be a cold call, it could be an unsolicited fax, or you might have even seen a sign by the side of the road or answered a classified ad in a newspaper. All of them have in common the promise of a serious income, like $2001-$5000 a week, $10000 a month, or something equally impressive, no information about who or what is sponsoring the ad, and an invitation to call an 800# with a 4 digit extension. The number might be 1 800 322-6169, 1 800 784-1710, 1 800 995-0796, or another toll-free number. So you call and listen to a short message that talks about a wealth-building program, or it asks you to answer yes or no to a couple of questions, or it includes a personal testimony about someone searching for and finding the "true, real" opportunity that you yourself are probably looking for, and then you hear some income figures given that really sound great. So you leave your name, your phone number twice with area code, and the best time to reach you, and then you wait for the call back. And in a short time, you do get a call. And here’s where the curtain opens...] (WORDS IN PARENTHESES IN ALL CAPS INDICATE TRUTH; OF COURSE, YOUR USE OF THEM AS A GPG ASSOCIATE IS ENTIRELY OPTIONAL; FOR BEST SCAMMING RESULTS, STICK TO THE SCRIPTS--THEY DO THE LYING FOR YOU! You called my 800 number and listened to a 2 minute recorded message about a business opportunity (THAT TOLD YOU NOTHING ABOUT IT EXCEPT HOW ORDINARY I AM, HOW LONG I’VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS, ETC., AND HOW I’M NOW MAKING SO MUCH MONEY I CAN’T EVEN SEE STRAIGHT) that’s about making $5000 a week or more (IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS); do you remember that (AND I DON’T REALLY CARE IF YOU DO, BECAUSE NOW THAT I’VE GOT YOU ON THE PHONE, I’M GONNA TELL YOU WHAT I WANT YOU TO KNOW AND EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO HEAR)? As you heard on the call, it takes 7 referred sales to be qualified as a director (REALLY IT DOESN’T, BUT IF YOU KNEW THAT, IT WOULD SHOOT HOLES IN THIS WONDERFUL TEAM-BUILDING EXERCISE I’M TAKING YOU THROUGH THAT’S SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU THINK THIS IS SO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN ANYTHING ELSE YOU’VE EVER SEEN, SO COLLABORATIVE AND WOW IT MUST BE LEGITIMATE), one of which would be your own, and of the other 6, only 2 must be personal (THAT SOUNDS EASY ENOUGH, RIGHT? JUST TWO MEASLY SALES; I WON’T TELL YOU THAT IT USED TO BE SEVEN SALES ON YOUR OWN--I MAY NOT EVEN KNOW THIS MYSELF--AND THEN IT WAS CHANGED TO JUST 2 BECAUSE TOO MANY PEOPLE GAVE UP AND WE FOUND WE WERE SHOOTING OUR PYRAMID SCAM IN THE BUILDING BLOCKS). The other four will be accumulated through what we refer to as "team building", and I’m going to show you how that works. We approach this marketing plan in what we call a linear format (DOESN’T THAT SOUND BRAINY?). Directly below that, I want you to put the numbers 1 through 8, straight down the page, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. And those represent your first personal sales (AND THAT COULD HAPPEN IN JUST A FEW DAYS, BUT MUCH MORE LIKELY, YOU’LL NEVER MAKE THOSE AT ALL; IT’LL ALMOST CERTAINLY TAKE A LONG TIME AND PLENTY OF MARKETING DOUGH, NOT TO MENTION YOUR PHONE BILLS). Now here’s where the teamwork comes in. You and I are both going to go to #1, and help #1 do exactly the same thing, with our help, the help of the conference calls, the system, the training calls, we’re going to find #1 their first 2 sales (ACTUALLY, YOU’LL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH #1 AT ALL, BUT IT SOUNDS SO COLLABORATIVE WHEN WE SAY IT THIS WAY; DON’T YOU JUST LOVE TEAMWORK?). So check off the #’s 5 and 6. Got it? Now, how many people did I say you needed in your team to qualify as a director (IT’S NOT THAT I DON’T REMEMBER, ALTHOUGH SOME OF OUR ASSOCIATES AREN’T TOO BRIGHT, IT’S BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO FEEL LIKE THIS IS SOOOOO EASY!)? (A:Seven) One of which was your own. And how many check marks do you have there (CAN YOU SAY SIX?)? (A:Six) Congratulations, you’re now a director. But it doesn’t end there. We’re all a team (THAT YOU’VE NEVER TALKED TO OR MET). You and I and #1 all help #2 do exactly the same thing you have done and #1 has done (NO YOU DON’T, AND NEITHER DOES #1, BUT IT SOUNDS SO...NICE TO WORK WITH A TEAM). So I want you to put a check mark next to #7 and #8 which are #2’s personal sales. Let’s look at what we’ve just accomplished (AND WE SHOULD BE SO PROUD!). Not only did we get you qualified as a director and in a moneymaking position (I WANT YOU TO FORGET THAT THIS IS ALL IN THEORY, SO YOU WON’T RECOGNIZE THAT IT REALLY DOESN’T WORK NEARLY THIS SMOOTHLY IN REALITY), but #1 has met their commitment of bringing 2 to the table, they have at least 6 in their organization, so #1 is a director, and we accomplished exactly the same thing by helping out #2. Number 2 is also a director. So through teamwork and support, and everyone benefiting from each other’s efforts (ESPECIALLY ME, BECAUSE YOU ALL PAY ME, AND IF YOU DON’T MAKE IT, THEN I DON’T HAVE TO COMPETE WITH YOU FOR AN INCREASINGLY LIMITED POOL OF PROSPECTS), all 3 of you got qualified as directors, and are now in a moneymaking position, very quickly (AND WE DID IT ALL IN A CLASSIC PYRAMID SCAM FASHION, BY MARKETING THE BUSINESS TO OTHERS WHO RECRUIT OTHERS TO MARKET THE BUSINESS; THE PRODUCT’S NOT SELLING ITSELF, IT’S JUST THE ENTRY FEE FOR MARKETING THE BUSINESS; NOW ABOUT THE "QUICKLY" THING--FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE, QUICKLY IS DEFINED IN GLACIAL TERMS). Do you see how that works (NOT THE PYRAMID SCAM PART, BUT THE THEORETICAL EASE OF GETTING OTHERS IN ON THE SCAM)? Let’s continue this scenario. Let’s go out (REALLY, YOU GO OUT, NOT ME) and find your 3rd personal sale (AND NOW YOU’RE REALLY ON YOUR OWN; I’LL TRY TO MAKE MYSELF AVAILABLE TO YOU, BUT MY MOTIVATION IS A LITTLE DECREASED; BESIDES, IF YOU EVER EVEN GET HERE, I’LL BE GENUINELY SHOCKED AND YOU PROBABLY WON’T EVEN NEED ME). Let’s say your third sale is Mary. Instead of putting Mary at the bottom of your line, we’re going to start what we refer to as your first prosperity panel (OR PYRAMID). So about 3 or 4 inches to the right of your name, I want you to put the name Mary. Now draw a line from Mary to your name, _________. On that line write twelve hundred and fifty dollars because Mary paid YOU for the product (ACTUALLY, SHE PAID YOU FOR THE RIGHT TO MARKET IT). Now Mary is going to commit to bringing 2 personal sales to the table (VIA OPPORTUNITY SEEKERS, NOT PRODUCT SEEKERS). You’re going to team Mary up with 2 other people, just like I did with you (NEVER MIND THAT THE PERCENTAGE OF FOLKS WHO EVER GET TO THIS POINT IS EMBARRASSINGLY SMALL), so write the #’s 1 and 2 under Mary. Mary is benefiting because those 2 people count towards her qualification, so she’s one-third of the way qualified (ASSUMING YOU’RE ABLE TO FIND A #1 AND #2 FOR HER). You’re benefiting monetarily (WHICH IS ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS TO US, RIGHT?), because #1 and #2 both paid you for the product. That’s twenty five hundred dollars in your pocket, minus ten percent for the product cost (IT IS QUITE A MARKUP, HUH? THAT COVERS OUR OUTLANDISH MARKETING COSTS AND MAKES IT SOUND ALL THE MORE APPEALING). Now you and Mary are going to go to work. With your help, the help of the conference calls, the training calls, and the system that’s already in place, nobody’s going to reinvent the wheel here, Mary’s going to bring in her 2 personal sales. Write #3 and #4. Again, Mary’s benefiting because she has another 2 towards her qualification (SHE’LL PROBABLY NEVER KNOW THAT SHE’S ABLE TO MAKE MONEY WITH JUST TWO SALES, AND IN FACT, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO CONVINCE HER SHE NEEDS TO FIND A FEW MORE SALES FOR YOU BECAUSE ONE OF HER TEAMMATES IS A BUM), and you’re benefiting because you’ve been paid another twenty five hundred dollars. You and Mary (ACTUALLY, JUST YOU) will both help #1 and #2 bring in their first 2 sales (RECRUITS, THAT IS). Using the conference calls, and the system, #1 will go out and get #5 and #6. Mary is now qualified (SHE WAS BEFORE, BUT MAYBE WE WON’T LET THAT CAT OUT OF THE BAG EITHER), but you’ve benefited to the tune of another twenty five hundred dollars. Mary and #1 will help #2 (NO THEY WON’T) go out and get their 2 personal sales, so you can write in #7 and #8, which pay you another twenty five hundred dollars. Do you see (NOTHING BUT DOLLAR SIGNS NOW) how many directors are averaging 2 to 5 sales a week and more using this system? It’s pretty simple (TOO BAD IT DOESN’T WORK THIS WAY IN REALITY FOR ALL BUT A VERY SMALL NUMBER OF SCAMMERS; IT WORKS JUST WELL ENOUGH FOR ENOUGH PEOPLE TO KEEP IT GOING, AND NEW FOLKS HAVE THE HARDEST TIME MAKING IT WORK). And I want you to understand this. Not only are you getting paid from numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, understand that you’re also going to sell product (REALLY THE BUSINESS) to and get paid from numbers 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and so on, all the way down the line. Everybody who comes into this prosperity panel is going to purchase the product (AGAIN ONLY BECAUSE THAT’S THE ONLY WAY TO MARKET THE BUSINESS) from you (YOU SHOULD BE HEARING CASH REGISTER NOISES BY NOW). And you can start as many of these prosperity panels as you can personally manage simultaneously (WHICH IS REALLY NOT TOO HARD BECAUSE THEY TAKE FOREVER AND A DAY TO GET OFF THE GROUND, IF THEY EVER ACTUALLY DO). I recommend 3, that’s what I do (IN MY FANTASIES) and that seems to be a good number where you can still give your teams the support they need. Let’s continue with this scenario. Let’s say that you decide to come aboard, ________, and with my help, you become somewhat successful here. Let’s say that in the next few months, two, three months down the road, I help you put thirty, forty, fifty thousand dollars in profit into your bank account (NOW THE ODDS OF THAT HAPPENING ARE JUST A TAD BETTER THAN DIGGING A HOLE IN YOUR BACKYARD AND STRIKING OIL OR DISCOVERING JIMMY HOFFA), how would you feel at that point (AND YOU’D BETTER BE DROOLING NOW)?
