| First of all, I would like to say that reading this almost makes
me sick. I started with the Institute of Global Prosperity this year
(2001) and went at it hard for 6 months. I will have to completely
agree with others who have posted here. It is amazing how much they push
and push to get you to step up to the next level. It doesn't matter to
them that you have no money because according to many QR's if you have
the desire you can find the money! I came in at the G1 level and
stepped up to the G2 level 2 months later. I did go to the seminar in Cancun, Mexico.
I took my Mother-in-law with me. I've got to be honest here. I was
impressed with everything I heard and saw while at the seminar. I
had been marketing for a couple of months at that point. I had my first
sale off of a cold call lead. My next two sales were from people that
I knew. So, I was qualified to retail and had one paid sale. I was
excited at this point. My QR told me that going to the G2 seminar would catapult my enterprise and I would be making sales left and
right when I got back. WAKE UP CAll! Here I am four months later and
haven't made another sale since before I went to the seminar in JUNE! I
stopped marketing at the end of August so I guess I'm one of those
slackards with no work ethic. I decided to go back to teaching which is
what I believe I was called to do! My husband came across this website a
few days ago and I feel relieved to know that there are other people
like me out there. Here I am thinking that I am a quitter and maybe I
would have made a sale the day after I stopped marketing. I am currently
trying to cancel all of my associations with Global. you know, my
voice mail, prostep and phone company. Of course, I didn't know you had to
do all of this by the 25th of the month before you want to cancel.
It's amazing that you can upgrade at any time but when you try to cancel
there is a deadline! I will tell you that I am a Christian and was very excited when I got to G2 and found out that the leaders of the company were to. Now, I know that, that is all a bunch of bologney. I thank the Lord that I was not successful in this business and that He protected me in that way. I did not have a chance to get into any of the investments or implement any tax strategies. Reason being it costs money to do all of these things. Not just a little money but thousands of dollars. Of course, with all the money I put into the program I don't have much money to do anything with anymore! So, I guess I'm not a PRODUCT OF THE PRODUCT! This is another reason that you are told you aren't successful! I was told many times that all I needed to do was fill the pipeline and the sales would come bursting out of the other end. Well, I was making calls for 4 to 6 hrs. per day and believe me I was putting people through the system but the truth is it was all a lie. I was not comfortable trying to bring people into an association where I was not making money. Not to mention the fact that the people I talked to didn't have the money to get started! We need to continue telling others about this site. If you are looking at IGP at least research before you send that intial check or money order for $1250!
