Meeting of September 6, 1985 at the Gillilands, Pres. Alan Huff presiding. Minutes were taken by Ginny McNitt, Secretary.
The meeting was called to order at 9:22 p.m. The Minutes were waved. Bob Oliver, Treasurer, reported that, as of Sept. 1st, the WSFA balance was $3,643.73.
COMMITTEES
Disclave '85: Bob MacIntosh reported that they have a balance of about $7,600.
Disclave '86: Jack Heneghan reported that the GOH won a Hugo. The contract has been sent back to the hotel.
OLD BUSINESS
Alan Huff and Jack Heneghan visited the WSFA tax lawyer, Mark Weinburg. Alan Huff reported that WSFA will have to pay taxes as a corporation for the last three years. The corporate tax rate is %15 of annual profits.
For the future, if we make some changes to the WSFA Constitution, we can be categorized as a tax exempt social club.
Walter Miles asked the Trustees to make a nomination for the Disclave '87 chairmanship. It was moved that the election meeting be held on October 4th. It was carried by acclamation. At the next meeting the Trustees will announce their candidate.

The meeting was called to order at 9:15 p.m. The minutes of the previous meeting were unavailable. Bob Oliver, Treasurer reported that the treasury balance was currently $3,411.07.
COMMITTEES
Disclave '85: Bob MacIntosh, Treasurer, was asked when he would be able to deposit the income from the convention into the general treasury. He explained that there were some outstanding bills to be paid first.
OLD BUSINESS
Alan Huff said there was nothing new on the pending matter of our tax status.
Judy Newton, speaking for the Trustees, announced their candidate for the chairmanship of Disclave '87 to be Joe Mayhew. At the election on Friday, October 4th any other candidates may be proposed from the floor.
