Making Light: Styrofoam tits ::: May 19, 2006, 03:00 PM Anarch: Which is an interesting topic in its own right: what other words should exist in English according to similar grammatical rules that apparently don't? The Washington Post writes "employe" for "employee". By the law of French loan-words I think "employe" should exist, and dictionaries list it as a legitimate alternative spelling, but everytime I see it I wonder, "Who the hell let people like that be the Washington Post?" They look like they're selling their literacy for a ha'pworth of ink.
