Alexander McCall Smith has become a full-time writer, but his day
job used to be Professor of Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
The biographic information in his books mentions that he wrote the
definitive work on The Forensic Aspects of Sleep.  I am profoundly
curious about what it could refer to.
