The problem is that until you see it, it's hard to believe there can be an upbeat film about the end of the world. My advice is to see it, right now, if it hasn't gone away already. I found that the exercise of looking it up in a paper, dropping everything, and taking the 15 minute drive with my friend to the screening 20 minutes later was an exercise that paid us a thematic bonus. DC area folk, I think it's only left at the Cineplex Wisconsin. Dan Hoey
