It's my understanding that Dianetics is independent of the Chur-Sci.
Like meditation, some relatively sane people find it useful in dealing
with whatever problems.  Chur-Sci seems to be a cult that sprung up
around Dianetics and Elron, that is rumored to include brainwashing,
economic parasitism, authoritarian hierarchy, and the Xemu mythology.
It looks like Dianetics:Scientology::Meditation:Guru Mahesh
Yogi::Christ:Xian Churches from where I'm sitting.  But then it's
all oatmeal to me, and your mileage may vary.  I hope nobody's too
offended if I stepped in their dogma.

As for where Bridge fits into the equation, I can't help you a whole
lot.  It's just that publishing and promoting Dianetics doesn't
automatically make them Churchers, I don't think.
