On the off-chance that receiving a couple of e-mail guesses indicates
interest in the subject, I'll pass on my best current guess. I think
he feels she was treating him like a prostitute treats a customer:
trick=john, bag=category.  But it's just a guess, I don't know any
native speakers of this argot.
