A Libertarian is a person who believes that no one has the right,
under any circumstances, to =initiate= force against another human
being, or to advocate or delegate its intitiation.  That's all that
Libertarianism consists of, no more, and no less.  Those who act
consistently with this principle are Libertarians whether they realize
it or not.  Those who fail to act consistently with it are =not=
Libertarians, regardless of what they may claim.

Aside from the obvious rhetorical question -- what kind of
"Libertarian" threatens to employ government violence against others
over something they =say=? -- and the observation, not rhetorical at
all, that this is one reason we =must= require the Non-Aggression
Pledge of =anyone= who wishes to join the Libertarian Party, I offer
the following without further comment ...

Dear Mr. Smith,

I am in receipt of the enclosed article authored by you and posted
onto the Internet by you on or about October 31, 1995 [=sic=].

Please be advised that the content of your article contains untrue and
defamatory statements about Libertarian Party activists.  You clearly
wrote it with malice and reckless disregard for the facts.

Please also be advised that if a complete retraction and apology is
not posted on the Internet in the exact manner the article was posted
by September 21, 1995, a libel suit will be immediately brought
against you.  If confirmation of the retraction is not received by
this office within the time prescribed, the next communication you
receive will be service of process of a civil Complaint.
