Reply-To: WSFA members <WSFAlist at keithlynch.net> Saturday night Judy and I will be at a concert/live recording session with a musical group called Groovelily. We first encountered these folks about 3 years ago on New Year's eve in Ashville, NC. There are three of them, most of the time, with electric violin, keyboard and drums. I place them somewhere in a very broad jazz/rock/pop area. . .except that some of their gigs are now being billed as "folk". That basically means that you have a better chance of hearing the lyrics. Of some interest is that all 3 Newtons are fans of their music--and that's a pretty narrow intersection of tastes. Anyhow, I heartily recommend Groovelily to anyone who might not have anything else going Saturday night--or just feels like trying something new. The show's on at 8:00 p.m. at Jammin Java in Vienna (http://www.jamminjava.com). Tickets are either $10 or $12, depending on who you believe. Ask me about it. There's free sample music available on their website ( http://www.groovelily.com/index2.html will get you past the flash front end) but you should download the tracks first, don't play them online. That's generally pretty poor. Russian composers, phooey! Barry
