Cathy,
	I am not allergic to nuts, but I appreciate your asking.  As a
diabetic, I have to watch what I eat and "death by chocolate" is a serious
issue for me.
	Several years ago, one member brought a tray of snacks out of the
host's kitchen, saying "In the tradition of sweets for the sweet, here are
the nuts."

Since death by cookie is a particularly stupid way to
go, I don't think it was an unreasonable question.  I
don't want anyone to have a severe allegergic reaction
to the cookies I bring to the meeting this friday.
