Where was the other one? > The other one was the Scene of the Crime Bookstore on a side street in Bethesda (Elm Street?); it looked to be a converted duplex home, as there was some other business on the other side of the house. It only stayed in business about 5 years, I think, but it was even friendlier than the Mystery Bookstore in DC, if that's possible. You would remember it if you had ever gone to the Scene of the Crime, because just inside the front door they had a chalked-in (well, painted, actually) outline of a dead body. Whenever they had a book signing there, the store owners always had home-made brownies and apple cider for those who came to the store. It was a great little book store. ===== Rich Lynch ========== MIMOSA web site: http://jophan.org/mimosa/ 1960s Fan History Site: http://jophan.org/1960s/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
