We don't have enough space this year for an art show unless one of the
ballrooms remains unsold to another group. Next year, however, if we
have more money to put into function space, we may be able to.

I happen to like having a small convention, where you have a chance to
see everyone and even talk to them now and then. I enjoy meeting
people, and got to hang out with quite a few that I'd never met before.
(I'd never actually met Avadon, for example, just knew her from the
'net.) It was a good, interesting, and highly intelligent group this
year, and I hope that we continue to attract such.

But one advantage of having more people is that they take more rooms
which sometimes means a decreased rate for the function space. More and
more hotels, however, are now separating the rooms from the
function/catering considerations, so it's not as important as it once
was.

I like having an art show and we have people who know how to put one
together. And I like artists. Once we're more established I'd like to
see us doing something with art, be it a show, an exhibition of one
artist's work, or borrowing from WoW again. (They have just incredibly
neat stuff!)
