Actually, the current bad guys on Buffys are three nerds who have a
collection of Star Wars action figures and talk about movies.  In other
words, your typical sf fan at a con looks and acts exactly like the current
Buffy Bad Guys (well aside from the fact that when we build an invisibility
ray or summon demons it doesn't work.)
