Submitted for your approval: some excerpts from the March-June 1985 WSFA Journal (Beverly Brandt, editor): Brian Lewis announced that Hollywood is making a movie based on Barry Longyear's novel "Enemy Mine." Alan Huff had leftover DisCon II program books to give away. At the March 3rd Friday meeting (at the Olivers'), the treasury was reported at $5767.36. The trustees' slate for the upcoming election was: President: Alan Huff V.P.: Michael Walsh Secretary: Ginny McNitt Treasurer: Bob Oliver (incumbent) Trustees: Cat Slusser, Judy Newton, and Laura Jones An obituary of Ted Sturgeon was included, written by Somtow Sucharictul. Geoffrey Gould reviewed the movies "Mask," "The Company of Wolves," and "Ladyhawke." He also provided information on how to contact the appropriate people to protest the cancellation of "Dr. Who." NASFIC hotel information listed room rates from $42-125, with most in the neighborhood of $70. If you recognize all the names given above, you are an official WSFA Geezer. Personally, I have no idea who Geoffrey Gould is/was! Erica (not North) the perpetual nongeezer
