Once flew in C-47, from Okinawa to Taiwan. In addition to some military =
personal &  dependents, it also was carrying a small wing and a refridgerat=

& they're still in commercial use too.  There's a commuter airline out of =
Cap Cod - I believe - that still flies them.

I remember being shipped back form Cambodia in a Gooney Bird - and I
understand the USAF STILL has some in mothballs out in Arizona.
