	You should check out _Zany Afternoons_.  Unfortunately, I don't have
my copy with me to give you the author's name.  He had a number of
beautifully illustrated articles on "the Golden Age of Play" -- a fantasy
1930s with various pseudo-logical entertainments including dining on the
wings of airplanes, autogyro polo, giant cars, and the Soviet version of
_Life_ magazine.
