I thought > you had better manners. Hold on a minute. *My* manners are not at issue. The simple fact is that, at roughly annual intervals, I *have* made polite inquiries and suggestions -- almost always to Alexis, who probably recalls them -- and on each occasion I was told that WSFA chooses Coke over Pepsi. And I have had a Diet Coke without complaint. (Last lst Friday meeting even those disappeared. I suspect that more and more people are switching from sugared to diet/non-sugared sodas.) It's a rare meeting when Alexis and I don't talk food -- as I have also on occasion with the Lynches -- and I take modest pride in having suggested curry powder to Alexis for his deviled eggs. If it mattered That Much to me, I'd *bring* a Diet Pepsi -- I normally do provide my own at writers' group meetings and other informal functions I attend. I brought this up on this list *solely* after Erica made the statement that WSFA won't drink Pepsi products, to offer myself as a counter-example. --Ted White
