Amazingly enought, Hole in the Wall Books is where I first met Ted
White... proving once again that great minds think alike.

Amusingly enough I first met Hole's owner, Michael Nally, at the 1971
Disclave. He and his eventual wife Edie lived in my house for nine months
in
1972, and we remain close friends. (Michael is also an artist and I used
his
work in AMAZING and FANTASTIC -- including the department headings in
FANTASTIC.) In addition to the Hole in Falls Church (established circa
1979),
Michael also owns Cosmic Books, just off I-66 in "Manassas." He has vastly
more stock in that (larger) store, but will be closing it later this year or
early next year, after he moves his warehousing operations out to his home
outside Warrenton. Edie runs the Hole these days, somehow fitting it
around
her schedule raising three kids.
