And Border's was, but that was all.  We tried to go to Daedalus Books in
Columbia, but they were closed.  Although despite the fact that Columbia is
laid out totally stranger hostile, we did manage to find it.  Have I
mentioned that I HATE Columbia, MD?

Must be a Maryland law - all kinds of stuff was (were?) open here.
