I once found myself very low on gas in Columbia, before I knew my way around like I do now, and almost ran out before I found a station. Regarding things being open, Karl and I drove Lydia down to the Richmond suburbs on Easter to stay with Aunt Gretchen (who is as beautiful as Tonya's Aunt Nichelle, albeit in a different color scheme). We drove home on Rt. 301, and nearly everything was closed. Personally, I think we can do without shopping a couple of days a year.
