I don't want to fall into blaming the victim, like last Sunday's op-ed
which blamed Enron shareholders for the Enron debacle.  The shareholders,
it goes, drove Enron management to fudge the numbers because the
shareholders had been avidly seeking stocks with high earnings growth.
