My favorite incident in the comic was when Howard was attacked by
the being resembling a giant salt shaker with humanoid arms and legs. In
the ensuing scuffle, the salt shaker fell off the roof and broke. The
autopsy revealed no internal organs, just salt. And our Aquatic-American
hero escaped escaped death by condiment!
