Keith, Keith, Keith - let me clue you in.  It is no
secret when someone is nominated for a Hugo because
the nominees are contacted IN ADVANCE and given
refusal rights.  In fact, ideally, the nomination list
is not supposed to be announced until all those
nominated have approved.  I guess you didn't hear
about the brouhaha several years ago when the
nominations came out without all those involved had
been contacted.  or the many times we've said that we
knew we were nominated but didn't announce it
immediately because the committee asks the info to be
kept private until they announce it.  Now, people have
been known to steal their thunder, but not lately, I
guess.

Let me be clear - Rich knows he's been nominated.

Did I know Rich was unsubscribed?  Well, since I
mentioned to him that he probably wouldn't be able to
keep up with the list while he was traveling for two
weeks and having you suspend him for a while, yes I
did.  Married people don't share a mind, but they
often share information.  The problem is when you tell
one person and expect the other to know.
