Nicki, no one means to imply that you or Richard are spreading gossip or
doing anything inappropriate.  Elspeth's use of the word gossip was part of
her attempt to squash the on-line discussion of some rather immature
behavior on Lee's part.  Keith Lynch innocently found a small bit of Lee's
fannish history on your website and mentioned it to Lee.  Somehow she's
worked that up into big issue.

Please help us keep this from growing beyond polite resolution.  Feel free
