After Prague, you might think that Warsaw is a bit of a let-down; instead of a wondrous castle on a hill, there's the rather forbidding Stalinist-era Palace of Culture and Science that dominates Warsaw's skyline. But Warsaw's Old Town area is actually quite nice and there are certainly a lot of tourists. And, like Prague, the costs here are steadily rising every year. Both of these cities will be part of the European Union in a few years, but EU prices will bere here sooner yet! See you all at 1st Friday meeting! Best wishes, ===== Rich Lynch ========== MIMOSA web site: http://jophan.org/mimosa/ 1960s Fan History Site: http://jophan.org/1960s/ __________________________________________________
