For those who live near Gaithersburg: Famous Dave's
(a barbecue restaurant chain based in Minnesota) has
opened its new restaurant here in Gaithersburg; their
*official* opening is on Monday and they are training
their staff all day today, so the food is *free* for
anyone who comes to the restaurant before 7pm (which
they said was "last seating").

The restaurant is located in Kentlands area of
Gaithersburg (at the corner of Great Seneca Highway --
MD route 119, and Quince Orchard Avenue -- MD route
117). It's not easy to see from the street, but it's
right next to the now-defunct Boston Market
restaurant, which you *can* see from the street.

We ate lunch there, and can say that the food is
pretty good -- at least as good as Red Hot and Blue
(which we also like). The price will also be about
that of RH&B, but today, at least, there *is* such a
thing as a free lunch (or dinner)!
