Subject: [WSFA] Promoting Capclave . . .
Reply-To: WSFA members <WSFAlist at keithlynch.net>

I toss this out in the hope that someone will have the time & energy to do =
something - I know I don't.

Since bookstores sell SF it would seem that promoting Capclave where SF is =
sold would be a Good Idea.

Barnes & Noble, as an example, have Book (i.e. discussion) Clubs at many =
of their stores. The one at Potomac Yards, as an example, has a number of =
them, including a skiffy one. The person listed as the facilitator for =
the sf one is a Brian Coughlin (anyone know him? Did he attend Capclave =
last year?)

Maybe he might be interested in having Stan Schmidt a day before Capclave.
Maybe WSFA could help bring authors in.

As Deep Throat told the Watergate boys: "Follow the money" I would suggest =
we follow the books.
