Reply-To: WSFA members <WSFAlist at keithlynch.net> I have three of the cards. None in my real name or connected to my real address, etc. The discounts were temptingly substantial, but I loathe and fear the whole profiling side of them. So I compromised. ;) But then, I'm very much of a sale shopper. I'd say 70% of what I buy is the sale item that looks most interesting in the category. (Plus milk, coffee, veggies.) I'd say that the Safeway and Giant cards are getting a fairly accurate profile of my food-buying habits -- they're the most convenient grocery stores to my house. I don't go to CVS often enough for it to make that much of a difference. My friend Aleck enjoys building an odd profile, so the couple of times we've gone to CVS together, he's insisted on them scanning his card when I distinctively feminine products.
