I calculated an estimate of the gross lifting force of a helium blimp or
dirigible of the dimensions given for the 'mfbt's, and it did come out to
be about 100 tons, a figure mentioned in the article.

But it does seem almost futile to try to keep secret something which is
600 feet long and 300 feet wide, and which flies through the air.
