There is a post office a short distance from where Con
Jose is being held (go to usps.com and use the post
office locater function for an exact location and a
map). If you do most of your book buying thursday and
friday, you could mail the books home via media mail
which is a very reasonably priced service(I recently
mailed approximately 20 pounds of books for $9 and
change). You might also want to consider shipping
clothing items back via priority mail. This of course
doesn't help with the trip TO the Con, but it can
seriously lighten the load on the way back.
