Thanks! At least Saran Wrap would help keep it clean. Someone on another
list I'm on told me they actually make waterproof cast covers and they are
available at a medical supply store in Laurel. God, I love the Internet!

You know, saran wrap makes lots of different colors now, and I'm impressed
with the clingyness of the plastic. You might have to re-wrap a few times
per day, but if you tucked it in a couple of inches on each end, it would
do a pretty good job. Poor Lydia is going to sweat something fierce if you
tuck it in too far, but maybe for actual beach time, it'd be worth it. And
at least different colors might make the re-wrapping more bearable. You and
Lydia could go for stripes, for matching colors to outfits, for awful
contrasts with clothes.....

age 10, but at least it wasn't beach weather.
