The down side is that it's often closed on Sunday and holidays (like Memorial Day!). Karl and I used this service to send home artwork we bought in San Antonio. It all arrived in perfect condition, including the hotel towel I had used to carry the stuff so the frames wouldn't scratch each other or the artwork! If you do most of your book buying thursday and friday, you could mail the books home via media mail which is a very reasonably priced service(I recently mailed approximately 20 pounds of books for $9 and change). You might also want to consider shipping clothing items back via priority mail. This of course doesn't help with the trip TO the Con, but it can seriously lighten the load on the way back. --cathy green USPS employee speaking in a completely unofficial capacity ;) --- Erica VD Ginter <eginter at klgai.com> wrote: > > Here are a couple of my helpful hints for packing > light(er). > > Disposable reading.
