The newly restored version - running at 122 minues - is an absolute =
stunner.  It's about 50% longer than the previous restoration.

Best SF film of the year.

It's playing in Baltimore through Thursday.

As for a DC date, been there, done that.  According to: http://www.kino.com=
/metropolis/showtimes.html it played at the AFI National Film Theater July =
26-Aug. 8, 2002

The website for the restoration is http://www.kino.com/metropolis/ and is =
heavy on the graphics, flash etc etc.  Best have a fast connection and =
computer.
