The movie did show that there was a 9 month gap between obtaining the software and using it. During this time, Taransky presumed studied it intently. In any event, I believe that the movie is spoofing celebrity culture and people's willingness to believe, not super-Photoshop software. -----Original Message----- From: Ted White [mailto:twhite8 at cox.net] Sent: Wednesday, October 30, 2002 11:25 PM To: WSFA members Subject: [WSFA] Re: Things of Interest ----- Original Message ----- From: "Strong, Lee" <StrongL at MTMC.ARMY.MIL> To: "'WSFA members'" <WSFAlist at keithlynch.net> Sent: Wednesday, October 30, 2002 1:11 PM Subject: [WSFA] Re: Things of Interest > If you run into him again, ask him how he liked the movie _S1m0ne_. It's a shame it was such a slight movie, and so unbelievable (computer illiterate is given program and creates and melds "Simone" into existing movie footage *on his own* with absolutely no help from anyone). It deserved better. --Ted White
