FWIW, the Science Fiction Foundation in the UK was considering doing a =
Potter book, very much like their "Terry Pratchett: Guilty of Literature" =
(see http://www.personal.rdg.ac.uk/~lhsjamse/guilty.htm for details), but =
the agent for Rowling claimed they could quote nothing due to copyright, =
not even for academic/fair use purposes.  Of course the law on the other =
side of the pond is different, but still . . .
