Only because Judy Newton spotted one of these gems on a shelf behind Gandalf's head as he entered Bilbo Baggins' kitchen. (And knew what it was when she saw it, which is more than I can say.) We had to review that scene about three times. It's a weird looking thing, kind of like an oversized pine cone. The Post misquotes somebody with a description of it as having a smell that could "knock a buzzard off a fertilizer wagon." Incidentally, the 4-disc collector's set of "The Fellowship of the Ring" is worth every penny! Barry
