This from an email service, Publishers Lunch:

"Perhaps the best part of Linton Week's article on increasing efforts =
to
establish backlist Christmas tales by popular contemporary authors is =
the
way he puts it: "Book purveyors are banging into each other like
liquored-up elves, hoping to discover the next Dickens." "

The image of "liquored-up elves" . . . well . . . reminds me of some past =
WSFA New Year's Eve parties of long ago . . .

And lastly, I received an email today from the Washington Post Book World. =
Their SF Round-Up will be run of 12/15 . . . and my Edward Whittemore =
reprints will be there. Or so they say . .
