The story was originally called _Hardwired_ and that story was fused with _I, Robot_ when Fox bought the rights to the latter. Various alarms are starting to pulse softly in my head. -----Original Message----- From: Samuel Lubell [mailto:samlubell at yahoo.com] Sent: Wednesday, December 04, 2002 3:01 PM To: WSFA members Subject: [WSFA] Re: I, Robot --0-663424105-1039032074=:7604 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii They'd have to really adapt this to make it work with Will Smith in the lead role -- unless he's playing Susan Calvin. Shooting is to begin in April. Alex Proyas, whose last large-canvas projects were "Dark City" and "The Crow," will direct the film." Proyas directing gives me hope; "Dark City" was a really good flick. mjw --------------------------------- Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
