Well, I was 7 when I read about them and I'm going to
get the spelling wrong, but what about the Hawaiian
Menahunes? My recollection is that they were a
benevolent sort of little people. I think they show up
on top of swizzle sticks in tiki bars, or at least
they did at Trader vic's in NYC
