We just got back from seeing "The Two Towers".  Yer gonna love it.

I had heard dire warnings about the violence done to Tolkein, but it
wasn't too bad.  Some parts were a bit slow; interestingly enough, the
slow parts were the parts that Jackson added.  Both "books" ended early,
so Jackson has some catch-up to do in the third movie.

The Ents were OK (that's a *really* hard one to do), and Gollum was
brilliant, although I thought he looked too much like Peter Lorre.
