I started accumulating email in a mailbox called 'SCAM' three or four years
ago. More disk space than sense, I suppose. The total to date is
157. The first couple of years it was just one or two per year. Beginning
in 2002 it's averaged one or two per week. I'm guessing that's when the
authors of these things started buying lists in earnest. I often get
duplicates.
