"Hey, the Washington Post Book World has a great review of this book =
called 'The Speed of Dark' by this Elizabeth Moon."

"Did we order it?"

"Nope."

"Ok, order some and see if she's written anything else and maybe order a =
few of those books too."

"Okey dokey."

A day or two passed.
The shipment from Ingram shows up at the bookstore.
The owner is unpacking it.

"Sweet Jesus . . . ! ! !"

"Huh, what . . .?"

"Well, here are the copies of "The Speed of Dark" . . . and here are the =
copies of her previous books."

"Gack. What appaling covers. What color blind idiot did those?

"Some cheesey sci-fi publisher called Baen."

"Well, it looks like Moon has certainly moved up in the world . . ."

The End
