The detective should check all the identification on
the Neffs to see which one is missing.  That one will
either be the murderer or the dead Neff assuming that
there's no way to tell clones apart (hardly likely
dental records would be different, body scars, weight
etc.), and the murderer switched ids with the victim.

Then comes motive.  As described, the Neffs have no
motive to kill Logan and any individual Neff who knew
about the swapping could stop it just by exposing it.

That leaves:
1. An outsider unaware of the swaps
2. A Neff unaware of the swap
3. A person who really wanted to kill the Neff and
chose the time when the Neff was imitating Logan in
order to confuse the issue.
