So, who is still snowed in?

Rich and I spent yesterday morning shoveling 18" of
snow out of the driveway.  Then the snow plot when by.
 We spent the afternoon clearing the driveway of the
snow the plow left.  The driver was having a lot of
fun driving up and down the street blowing his horn
and filling driveways.  So we have about a lane and a
half cleared where there isn't a buried car, on this
part of the street.  The half of the street not near
the middle school had less plowing and if you live on
a cul-de-sack off our street, you're there until
spring or the plow decides to come back.

What little we saw of Gaithersburg was not
encouraging.  Quince Orchard, normally a two lane
divided road is one lane each way, no right hand turn
lanes.  The local PO is open, but all the trucks were
parked in the parking lot making it hard to get in.
It didn't look like much, if any, of NIST was plowed.
We had no trouble getting into Giant Food, but there
were few people there.

Unless a lot more plowing is done, I doubt there will
be school or the Fed opening tomorrow.
