As a student of history, **I** can cite 19th Century precedent for
every point. However, we've learned a few things since then, and our plans
for the governance of Iraq are far more benevolent than this joke. We're
the ones delivering food and water to Basra and Umm Qasr after Saddam's
goons cut them off. You don't have to give the US and Allied governments
the benefit of the doubt. See the evidence on CNN and other news sources.

Interestingly, Strong, Lee said:

Joke? I'll bet the author could cite historical precedent for every
point. Even as a retired fed, I grant the US Government *no* benefit of
the doubt.
