There was an article about the "secret > metro restrooms" in the Post a couple months ago. I figured there were restrooms in the Metro stations for the people who work there. However, I think their definition of "emergency" does not include "going to make a smelly mess on the platform". I've never talked to anybody who actually used one. Is this: <http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&node=metro/specials/metrorail&contentId£5155-2003Jan23¬Found=true> the article you saw? Interesting discussion of a high-tech toilet, coming soon to the Huntington Metro station. There's also a link to an activism site for public restroom access. Note that using an elevator in a downtown Metro station generally involves putting the olifactory senses into neutral. -- Steve Smith sgs@aginc.net Agincourt Computing http://www.aginc.net "Truth is stranger than fiction because fiction has to make sense."
