Subject: [WSFA] WSFA donation to sf-lovers.org
Reply-To: WSFA members <WSFAlist at keithlynch.net>

Following up the club's acceptance of my proposal that we make a donation
to Saul Jaffe's website, I received the following from Saul and from Kevin
Standlee. I'm not certain about the tax implications of routing the
donations through SFSFC, but that's the way Saul wants us to do it. At the
third Friday meeting, I'll gather donations and forward them to Kevin. For
those that want to insure they can track their donation for tax purposes,
you'd better send yours directly to Kevin, with the check made payable to
SFSFC.

At this point, everything is going through SFSFC. They have graciously
consented, at least for the moment, to coordinate the donations.

At the moment, I'm having problems with my bank. Otherwise, I'd set up a
Paypal account. Until things get straightened out, the basic rule is: If
you want to get a tax deduction, the funding has to go through some group
like SFSFC. If you don't care about the deduction, you can send the check
directly to me.

And, THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH!!!
