Subject: [WSFA] World Fantasy Con, a brief report

Depending upon how I feel, I may or may not be at this evening's meeting; =
perhaps it's been too much travelling and one unkind bug, hence this =
written note.

On Tuesday most of the WFC concom met at the hotel for a long walk through =
and measuring party.  Both Art Show & Dealers Room always have concerns =
about actual dimensions of their respective spaces.

Programming was able to get a better of feel of where the various =
functions rooms are in relationship to one another.  For those who recall =
the 1996 Disclave the hotel is sort of a rabbit warren.

Other departments attending/represented: Registration, Hospitality Suite, =
Awards Banquet, & Hotel Liaison.

It was quite a productive meeting.  My thanks to all who attended.

The weekend before I was in thrilling Raritan Center, NJ for JerseyDevilCon=
.  Three of our GoHs were there: Brian Lumley, Allen Koszowski, and W. =
Paul Ganley.  It was quite useful meeting up with them since for the most =
part all communication has been by email.

One item of note: I knew that Brian's wife was an American, I didn't know =
she was born & raised in Glen Burnie.
